Chinese-tech giant Lenovo has launched theĀ M2 Electric Scooter in China. The new electric scooter comes in two white and black color options priced at 1,999 yuan (about Rs. 21,360) in China. It is available to purchase from theĀ Lenovo official website.
Lenovo M2 Electric Scooter serves a minimalistic design with the aviation-grade aluminum-alloy body and a total weight of just 12 kilograms. Distinctly, it is capable of carrying loads up to 120kg and it can be folded in just under 3 seconds, making it portable when not in use.
The M2 electric scooter features a lithium battery pack that generates up to 350W of power and offers up to 30 kilometers on a single charge that takes about 3 to 4 hours to fully charge the battery, which the user can check using the WeChat app.
The company says that it offers a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour which makes it an ideal vehicle for short-range commuting and quick errands in the neighborhood.
It features an interactive visual dashboard that displays the real-time speed, driving status, battery life, and other important information as well, all in one glance. It also features a triple brake system alongside a triple shock absorption system. The brake system includes sub brake, disc brake, and foot brake (translated).
The device also has a shock absorption system that includes hydraulic shock absorber, and hidden shock absorber. The body of the Lenovo M2 is also rated for IP54 protection.
The device is not expected to make launch in India as the company has not announced any plans for launch in other countries yet.
