Austria-based Horwin electric vehicle maker launched the new Horwin EK3 Electric scooter in Europe that comes in with swappable batteries to offer an optional longer range to run in a single charge.
Horwin EK3 electric scooter features a minimalist design with compact front and rear LED lights that gives the scooter a premium finish. It comes in equipped with a keyless entry sytem that uses a proximity sensor to detect the key fob when the owner is near.
It comes in with a 72-volt battery that offers up to 90 kilometres of range (up to 45km/h) in a single charge and a maximum top speed of 95 kilometres per hour.
It offers cruise control, helmet storage compartment under the seat, a combined braking system, the company also offers an option to purchase a secondary battery that doubles the range of the scooter.
The Horwin EK3 comes in two variants priced at €4,490 (~Rs. 3,96,000) for the base variant and the EK3 Deluxe with premium features is available at €4,490 (~Rs. 4,15,000).
Horwin EK3 is available in four color options White, Red, Grey Mat Finish, and Black Mat Finish. While the Horwin EK3 Deluxe is available in two color options – Dark Blue and Gray.
