Huawei’s Honor has unveiled its upcoming Honor Vision and Honor Vision Pro Smart TVs at the Indian Mobile Congress that kicked off in New Delhi on Monday, both the devices were earlier launched in China in the month of August.
Since the company has not revealed any release date or pricing for the devices but it is expected that they will be available for sale in Q1 of the year 2020 and the prices of both the device could be similar to their prices in China. Honor Vision was launched at CNY 3,799 (~Rs. 38,200) while the Honor Vision Pro was launched at CNY 4,799 (~Rs. 48,200).
Honor Vision, Honor Vision Pro Specifications:
Honor Vision has a 55-inch 4K QLED (3840×2160 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, an NTSC 87 percent wide color gamut with a 178-degree viewing angle. It offers a slim bezel display with a thick bezel on the bottom to display “Honor” branding.
It is powered by the quad-core Honghu 818 chipset, coupled with a Mali-G51 GPU. It comes in with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage for connectivity it offers Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, three HDMI ports, one USB 3.0 port, and one Ethernet port. It comes in with four 10W speakers on the back of the television that provides hi-quality audio.
In China, it runs Huawei’s own Harmony OS with multiple features like Honor Magic-link that gives you the power to control your Smart TV using your compatible mobile devices.
The company says that the Smart TV can be used as a Smart Home Hub and it will have the elements of the Magic UI 3.0 and EMUI 10 operating systems used by the Honor and Huawei brands respectively.
Both the TVs are similar in all specifications but the Honor Vision Pro offers a 32MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera that can make 1080p (30fps) video calls. It comes in with six 10W speakers and has 32GB internal storage.
