South Korean tech giant Samsung has lifted the covers off the new Galaxy Tab S7 series with the launch of the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+ at the Galaxy Unpacked event held on Wednesday.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ have a similar design with an aesthetic finish. The Galaxy Tab S7 comes in with an 11-inch (2560×1600 resolution) LTPS LCD display while the Tab S7+ has a 12.4-inch (2800×1752 resolution) Super AMOLED display.
Both the devices offer 120Hz panels, the Tab S7 has a fingerprint sensor on the side while the Tab S7+ has an under-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ come in with the Snapdragon 865+ chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage that is expandable up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot.
Both devices includes a dual-lens camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an LED flash. It also includes an 8MP selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
The Tab S7 comes in with an 8,000 mAh battery and the Tab S7+ comes in with a 10,090 mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support using a USB-C port.
On Connectivity, it offers 5G/4G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
Both of the devices comes in with Android 10-based Samsung One UI running out-of-the-box with Samsung DeX support to use the tablet like a laptop using a keyboard that is priced at $199 for the Tab S7 and $229 for the Tab S7+.
The Galaxy Tab S7 starts at $649 (Rs. 55,999 in India) for the base variant while the Galaxy Tab S7+ starts at $849 (Rs. 79,999 in India) for the base variant.
Both of the devices is available in three color variants: Mystic Black, Mystic Silver, Mystic Bronze starting this fall.
