Apple has finally unveiled a new-designed iPad 10-th generation that comes with a new iPad Air (2022) like design with thinner bezels and rounded edges around the device.
Apple iPad (2022) features a 10.9-inch display Liquid Retina IPS LCD display with 2360 x 1640 pixels resolution, 500 nits of brightness, fully laminated, and Anti-Reflective screen.
It comes in powered with Apple’s A14 Bionic chip with 64‑bit architecture that is 40% faster than the A13 Bionic chipset including the 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It features a Touch ID sensor on the top of the device escaping the old-school Touch ID sensor position on the previous model.
It comes in two 64GB and 256GB storage variant, with the option of Wi-Fi only and 5G model as well.
Apple iPad 2022 is more focused on performance and the company has added a 12MP (f/1.8) camera on the back that offers HDR and up to 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. While the front-facing camera has been updated to 12MP (f/2.0) that offers up to 1080p video calling support with smart HDR.
On connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
It includes a 28.6‐watt‐hour Li-Po battery that can be charged using a 20W power adapter that comes in the box and offer up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi‐Fi.
Apple iPad 10th-generation starts at Rs. 44,990 for the 64GB storage variant (Wi-Fi only) available in four Silver, Blue, Pink, and Yellow color options in India.
