Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Watch 3 its latest addition to the Galaxy Watch series at the Galaxy Unpacked Event.

Galaxy Watch 3 follows the same design as the original Galaxy Watch with the physical rotating bezel on the top and two side buttons, the company claims that the new watch is thinner and lighter that the previous Galaxy Watch.

The new Galaxy Watch 3 comes in two sizes — 41mm with a 1.2-inch display and 45mm with a 1.4-inch display, both of the watch comes in with Corning Gorilla Glass DX for protection.

The new Galaxy Watch 3 comes in power with the Exynos 9110 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage running Tizen OS with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi b/g/n connectivity.

Both sizes are available in Bluetooth and LTE options.

The new Galaxy Watch 3 keeps its focus on health and fitness features that now offers Blood Oxygen measurement along with Blood Pressure, and ECG measurements, while these features a limited to markets where the Watch has passed required certifications.

It also features fall detection like the Apple Watch that detect falls and send SOS messages to select contacts. It also offers a running analysis that gives you real-time feedback and post-workout reports. It also offers VO2 Max readings for cardio workouts and the new Samsung Health app offers over 120 workout videos that the watch can track accurately.

The Galaxy Watch 3 starts at $399.99 and it is available in select markets starting from August 6th.
