Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi Smart Band 5 in India after it was launched in Europe and earlier in China.
What’s new in Mi Smart Band 5
Mi Smart Band 5 includes a 1.1-inch color AMOLED screen that is 20% larger display in comparison to the Mi Smart Band 4 launched last year. The display panel offers a 126 x 294 resolution and up to 450 nits of peak brightness up from 400 nits in the Mi Smart Band 4.
The company has added a big number of new watch faces (65+) for Mi Smart Band 5, however, the silicone strap remains the same as the previous model but now comes in new attractive colors, including red, yellow, mint green, teal, and more.
Mi Smart Band 5 features 11 different types of activity modes that include outdoor running, swimming, cycling, walking, treadmill, freestyle, indoor cycling, jump rope, yoga, elliptical machine, and rowing machine.
Mi Smart Band 5 includes a PPG heart rate sensor that keeps track of your heartbeat continuously, it also monitors your sleep and stress. It also keeps features such as notifications, caller ID, idle alerts, alarms, and more. available in previous models.
It offers water-resistance up to 50 meters/ 5ATM and the company says it can last for up to 14 days thanks to its 125mAh battery that now uses a new magnetic charger making it easy to charge the device.
Mi Smart Band 5 is priced at Rs. 2,499 in India and it will be available from October 1st on Amazon and Mi.com official website.
