Just before the Apple WWDC 2019, Samsung has announced a new Notebook 7 series which looks to be inspired by the Apple MacBook Pro with its practically identical design. It has diamond-cut edges, a wide trackpad, and slim bezels surrounding its screen.
The new Notebook 7 series is in 13-inch and 15-inch versions. The 13-inch version looks practically the same as Apple’s MacBook Pro while the 15-inch version has a numpad on its keyboard, which shoves all of the keys and its trackpad left-of-center.
The Notebook 7 both 13-inch and the 15-inch screen comes with 8th Generation Intel Core processors, 8GB of RAM, 1080p screens, fingerprint sensors (the blue key on the keyboard).

Unlike Apple’s MacBook Pro the Notebook 7 series is loaded with useful ports including two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port, HDMI, and a microSD slot — though it doesn’t have the ethernet port.

The 15-inch version has an option of adding Nvidia’s GeForce MX250 Graphics Card and also support for the installation of an additional SSD for more internal storage space.
The Notebook 7 series starts at a price of $999 and will be available in the US from July 26th on Amazon and Samsung’s own online store.

Samsung also anounced a new 15-inch Notebook 7 Force which has the same design as Notebook 7 but it comes only in Black color.
The Notebook 7 Force comes in with the Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650, 16GB of RAM default, 512GB SSD or HDD, an Ethernet port, and two slots for storage expansion. It’s targeted to perform best in video editing and gaming but with its price starting at $1,499 seems much expensive when it comes to other laptops available under $1,000 with the same specifications.
Also its 43Wh battery is also a concern when compared to Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Pro which has a built in 83.6Wh battery.
