Samsung announced Chromebook 4 series with new design and USB-C charging

Samsung has finally announced the Chromebook 4 after nearly four years since the release of Chromebook 3. It comes in two sizes 11.6-inch which is priced at $229.99 and the 15.6-inch Chromebook 4 Plus which is priced at $299.99.

The Chromebook 4 has a slightly more modern design than the previous version and is similar to the Asus Chromebook Flip C302.

It is powered by the Intel Celeron N4000 processor and Intel UHD Graphics 600 and it comes in multiple configurations with 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 / 64 GB of eMMC internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.

The 11.6-inch variant offers 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and the Chromebook 4 Plus offers 1080p resolution, both the devices use a 39Wh battery that can run the 12.5 hours in a single charge while the bigger one can last up to 10.5 hours.

It uses USB-C port for charging using a 30W power adapter, it has a single USB Type-A port, headphone/microphone jack. Its USB-C port can also be used for data transfer at speeds up to 5Gb/s and connects to a 4K monitor.
