After Reuters released the news this early weekend that Logitech was in talks to take possession of Plantronics, the headphone manufacturer for more than $2.2 billion.
Logitech told TechCrunch that “while it had engaged in discussions with Plantronics about a potential transaction, it had terminated the negotiations.”
The Swiss PC and Mobile peripherals manufacturer Logitech, have acquired multiple tech devices manufacturing companies such as Mirial, Saitek, Astro Gaming, and much more.
The $2.2 billion deal would have been Logitech’s biggest acquisition till date. The main factor for Logitech offering so much to Plantronics due to the acquisition of video-conferencing solutions maker Polycom for $2 billion earlier this year.
