JioBook is finally here resting all the rumours about Jio‘s plan to bring in an affordable laptop in India.
JioBook Laptop Specifications
JioBook comes in with an 11.6-inch LED display that has a 1366 X 768 pixels resolution packed inside the ABS plastic body with minimal design offering the Jio logo on the lid of the laptop.
As per the listings on the GeM portal, the JioBook is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage (upgraded RAM and storage variants are expected to be launched soon).
It includes an HD web camera for video calling and includes a 55.1 Whr battery pack that can run the device for up to 8 hours in a single charge.
On connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless internet and data transfer support. It also includes one USB A 2.0 port, one USB-A 3.0 port, an HDMI port, a headphone combo 3.5mm port and an SD card slot.
JioBook also offers multi-touch enabled touchpad, dual speaker and dual microphones.
Surprisingly, it comes in with JioOS running out-of-the-box.
JioBook is currently priced at Rs. 19,500 on the GeM portal with limited number of quantities available specifically for government employees in India.
