Google Pixelbook Go with four configurations starting at $649 launched

At the Google Pixel Event 2019, Google announced the new Pixelbook Go its first Chromebook that comes with a reasonable price option starting at $649.

Google Pixelbook Go Specifications:

Google has designed the new Pixelbook Go with perfection as it looks a standard laptop with an eye-catching design matte finish on the top lid and a unique wavy pattern on the underside that looks inspired by the Pixel 3. It weighs 2.3 pounds (FHD) and its just 13.4 mm (0.5-inches) thick.

Pixelbook Go has a 13.3-inch touchscreen “molecular display” with a 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution. It is powered by the Intel Core processors that range from Core m3 to the Core i7 chipset which were used in the Pixel Slate launched last year and comes in with 8/16GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB SSD internal storage options.

On the bottom, it has two front speakers sided to the silent than ever Hush Keys keyboard that offers great sound experience. It features a 2MP web camera (Duo Camera) on top of the display which performs high-quality 1080p 60fps video calling and it offers two USB Type-C ports for charging and data transfer.

The company has not unveiled the battery size but claims that it can run up to 12 hours in a single charge with fast charge support that can last for up to 2 hours in 20 minutes of charging.

Google Pixelbook Go comes in four configurations in two attractive colors, named Just Black and Not Pink mentioned below.

  • $849: 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, FHD, 8th Gen Intel Core i5
  • $999: 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD, FHD, 8th Gen Intel Core i5
  • $1,399: 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, UHD, 8th Gen Intel Core i7

You can pre-order it from today in the United States and Canada. It will be launched in the UK next year.
