Dell XPS 17 with 4K display and Intel 10th Generation chipset launched

Dell has announced the new XPS 17 laptop which the company describes as the “most powerful XPS laptop ever,” priced at $1,499.99 and will be available in Summer this year.

The new Dell XPS 17 has a 17-inch display with up to 4K (3840 x 2400) pixels resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, skinny bezels, and a small HD webcam on the top center of the display.

It comes in with up to Intel’s latest 10th Gen Core i9 45W processors, 64GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage.

Dell is also offering either Nvidia’s GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q or the more powerful RTX 2060 for discrete GPU options on the XPS 17 which makes it a useful device for some games on the go or creators for video editing or more.

It includes a new thermal design to improve airflow, and it involves a custom vapor chamber to keep chips cool during heavy loading. It offers four USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports and a full-size SD card reader.

The company says the new Dell XPS 17 can offer up to 20 hours of battery life on FHD+ usage but there are no details for use in 4K screen.

Its dimensions are 14.74 x 9.76 x 0.77 inches which the company says is the smallest 17-inch laptop in the world.
