Every Year Google makes major announcements to the Hardware or Software of the company’s platforms at the I/O. We listed the top announcements Google made at the I/O 2019.
Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL



The cheaper version of the Pixel devices, Google Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL was revealed by the search engine giant starting at a $399 (INR 39,999), the new Pixel 3a offers the similar majestic pixel camera including features like Night Sight, Super Resolution Zoom, and more. The Pixel 3a will be available in three colors — black, white, and purple.
Google Nest Hub Max
Google announced a new product Google Nest Hub Max to its rebranded lineup of the Google Nest Umbrella (formerly Google Home). The new Google Nest Hub Max is a perfect combination of the Nest camera, Google Home Hub, and the Google Home Max, offering a security camera, smart display, and loudspeakers all in a single device.
Android Q Beta



Google also announced the third beta of the upcoming Android Q with multiple new features like Live Caption, Dark Theme for every standard app in the OS, Focus Mode to get rid of apps that distract users, more control over location sharing, new gesture control, and back button.
Android Q will have a smart reply which will allow users to reply directly from the notifications for all the messaging apps.
Project Mainline
Project Mainline is a new platform which will allow users to get the latest updates of the OS starting from Android Q directly from the Google Play Store instead of waiting on phone manufacturers or carriers. This allows Android devices to get updates in modules which will help tackle specific bugs in the device without affecting any other component.
Google Maps with Incognito Mode
Google is more focused on keeping users location data secured and minimize the location and search tracking. Google announced that the Google Maps will soon have Incognito Mode for more private searches both on the web and apps. This announcement has just came in a week after the company announced the users will be able to automatically delete their location, web, and app activity between periods of every three to 18 months.
Some other updates were announced by Google, Google Lens now lets you know how your dish or order will look like with the name of the dish on the menu card.
