Students ‘strike for climate’ all around the world

Students protesting for Climate change in Prague

Students around the world came out all together and walked out of school to point out the climate change to the government of the countries. The strikers joined the movement started by young activists around the world who are fighting for a healthy planet.

The movement is the major boost by the 16-year-old Swedish student Greta Thunberg, who earned herself a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize for her climate activism. If she wins she will be the youngest recipient of the prize surpassing Pakistan’s Malala Yousafzai, who received the prize at the age of 17.

As per the reports from 350.org over 1 million students joined the movement all around the world which came stronger since The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report claimed that our planet Earth only got 12 years to reduce carbon emissions for keeping the global temperature of the planet rising to more than 0.5-degrees Celsius.
