Realme has launched the Realme C55 adding a new smartphone to its affordable C series in Indonesia.

It has a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, 85% screen-to-body ratio, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and up to 680 nits of peak brightness, it features a punch hole cutout on the top of the display that holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with HDR and 1080p video calling support.
The punch-hole cutout allows the iPhone-like Dynamic Island Mini Capsule to display some UI notifications like low battery alerts, the phone’s charging status, and data consumption.
It comes in power with the Mediatek Helio G88 chipset and comes in coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2) that can be expanded up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot.
It features a rectangular dual-lens rear camera setup with a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash that offers up to 1080p video recording support.
It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-50% in just 29 minutes using a USB-C 2.0 port. It features a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It comes in with Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 running out-of-the-box and on the inside, it offers Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme C55 starts at IDR2,499,000 for the 6GB/128GB base variant while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at IDR2,999,000 available in Rainy Night and Sunshower color options in Indonesia.
