All transactional activities in Akon City will be done through Akoin, not any other cryptocurrency like Bitcoin or Ethereum as claimed by the official Facebook page of the Akoin and the official website says that a white paper and “explainer video” will be available sometime in February this year.
Investments in cryptocurrency are rising in African countries as South Africa and Nigeria are the highest-ranked African countries with the largest volume of cryptocurrency transactions, according to data from CryptoCompare.
