India-based EV startup Okinawa motors has have unveiled the Okinawa Dual, a new electric scooter that is designed specifically for delivery purposes in cities adding a new electric scooter in its lineup of electric scooters in India.
The company says that the Okinawa Dual is not an ordinary electric scooter that comes in with a pair of attachments in the front and the back that can be used to place boxes for fragile items, food, documents, parcels and other objects up to 200 kilograms.
It comes in with a hub-mounted 250-watt electric motor that generates a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour using the 48W, 55Ah, swappable Lithium-Ion battery and offers a claimed range of 130 kilometers. The company offers a quick charger with the vehicle that can charge the battery from 0 to 80% in just 1.5 hours and full charge in just 4.5 hours.
It also offers a digital LCD speedometer and EABS (Electronic Assisted Braking System) with regenerative braking.
Okinawa Dual is priced at Rs. 58,992 available in two Sunrise Yellow and Glossy Red color options.
