Apple have released the new 12.1.1 update with some new improvements and fixes the issues found in the iOS 12 update. The main improvement has been provided to the Facetime, which has been criticised the most after the features like the ability to take Live Photos during calls, and making the ‘flip camera’ button harder to find behind a menu. The Flip Camera button is back to the main screen, on the bottom menu row alongside the Mute, Effects, and End Call button.
Some other big features include dual SIM with eSIM support for additional carriers on iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. A new notification preview using haptic touch on iPhone XR has been added.
Bugs Fixes:
The latest update to iOS have fixed bugs like Face ID being temporarily unavailable, broken text suggestions in Chinese and Japanese keyboards and issues with visual voicemail downloading.
