LG Electronics have teased us with a new gesture control device announcement at the upcoming MWC 2019. LG has published a new 13-second video with the tagline “goodbye touch”. The video shows a hand waving messages in and out of existence, which suggests that the company is planning to launch a device called the LG Premiere a day ahead of the Mobile World Congress next month.
This isn’t the first time that LG has come up with gesture controlled devices. In 2013 LG experimented with letting the users control their LG TVs with their hands and fingers to control on-screen sensor.
With the “goodbye touch” tagline it suggests that the upcoming new device could be a new mobile device as most of the mobile devices these days uses touch technology to operate.
Last year LG announced LG V30s the insistent update of LG V30 adding some new additional camera effects. Possibly LG might launch the upgrade of LG V30s with some Samsung Galaxy S4 gesture control features.
Further details will be available soon. Mobile World Congress will start from February 24th 2019 in Barcelona.
