Google’s Interpreter mode: real-time language translator is now rolling out globally for mobile devices after it’s launch on smart speakers and displays earlier this year, it will be available for both iOS and Android devices.
The real-time translator works side-to-side with the Google Assistant and activates in a flash with saying something like “Hey Google, be my Spanish translator” or “Hey Google, help me speak Korean,” and the translator delivers you a real-time translated transcript and audio of the spoken words or statement.
This feature is so smart that it also provides you smart replies to help the conversation going, as per the current release it offers 44 languages listed here, in an earlier release on Smart devices and displays it offered only 29 languages.
It has been enabled in the Google Assistant so users don’t have to download a different app to access this feature. Google Lens and Interpreter mode on your mobile devices will be a necessary part of traveling in foreign countries.
