At Google I/O 2019, the search engine giant has pulled the cover off its affordable smartphone the Pixel 3A and the Pixel 3A XL from its series of flagship smartphone Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.
“This is the cheapest Pixel camera you can get.”
The budget variant of the Google Pixel offers the superb camera of the Pixel but cutting the value on the specifications with the use of plastic for the design, an average processor and the omission of the wireless charging and certified water resistance IP 68 but the new Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL has a headphone jack.
The Pixel 3a XL has a 6.0-inch Full HD + OLED display while the Pixel 3a has a 5.6-inch display with same resolution and specifications. Bluetooth v5.0, stereo speakers and the free Google Photos backup for full-quality photos (as usual for Google Pixel users).
4GB of RAM, Fast Charging, with Pixel 3a XL gets a 3,700mAh battery, while the smaller Pixel 3a has a 3,000mAh battery.

Google promises to provide Android OS and security updates to the Pixel 3a for three years which gives an edge over the other budget smartphones.
T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular will also offer the Pixel 3a and is available on sale from now, at a price of $399 / £399 for the Pixel 3a and $479 / £469 for the Pixel 3a XL.
