As the year comes to an end, most companies are announcing their best of the year and Google has also announced its annual report of most downloaded apps, movies, TV shows and books on it’s Google Play Store.
Google Play Store users voted ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ as the best game, ‘Video Editor – Glitch Video Effects’ as the best app, “Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame” as the best movie and ‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’ by Alvin Schwartz best e-book of the year 2019.
Ablo was selected as the Google Play Store Editor’s Choice best app of the year 2019. The app is developed by Belgium-based Massive Media and it helps users explore foreign cultures and connect with people despite the language barrier; the app auto-generates subtitles as you video-chat with people across the globe.
Game of Thrones topped as the best TV show of the year 2019 followed by The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, Riverdale, and Yellowstone respectively.
The Mister by E L James topped as the best selling E-book of the year 2019 followed by Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz, Tiamat’s Wrath by James S. A. Corey, The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, The Institute by Stephen King respectively.
Becoming by Michelle Obama topped as the best selling Audiobook of the year 2019 followed by The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, Unfu*k Yourself: Get Out of Your Head and into Your Life by Gary John Bishop, A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire: Book One by George R. R. Martin, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling respectively.
