Millions of people around the world walked out of their work and school on the streets to join in the Global Climate Strike to demand that global leaders take action to resist the climate crisis and its catastrophic consequences.
Inspired by the Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg who started striking on Friday in front of the Parliament of Sweden since August last year.
These mass protests started from Pacific to Asia to Europe and the largest was seen in the United States. Theses mass protests just came before the Climate Summit at the United Nations on Monday, September 23rd.
