Facebook has unveiled a new logo that will introduce the parent company as the owner of Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and more. The new logo just says “Facebook” which has a very generic font that will look really fine on print and engraving.
The company has released a GIF that displays the logo in separate colors to represent the separate brands — blue for Facebook proper, green for WhatsApp, pinkish for Instagram, and so on.

The new logo will replace the existing “from Facebook” wordmark in the “coming weeks” that was introduced a couple of months earlier in some of the apps of the company.

Facebook which started 15 years back has been using the same Wordmark as the whole for the parent company and since then the company has grown in multiple businesses which are now more than just a social media company.
The new branding was designed for clarity and uses custom typography and capitalization to create a visual distinction between the company and the app as mentioned by the company in the blog post.
But is this introducing is putting a new layer of goodwill since the company has been suffering huge problems related to privacy and other concerns around the world?
