Facebook Messenger could be returning to the Facebook App

Facebook Messenger might be making its way back to the main Facebook app, as reported by app researcher Jane Manchun Wong. This new feature means that in future you would be able to access your chats and other Facebook Messenger features in the main Facebook app.

Facebook Messenger was released as an independent service back in the 2011, and in 2014 Facebook removed its functionality from the self-titled app. After a half decade Facebook is going to integrate its messaging facility back to the Facebook app. Facebook is also preparing to merge Whatsapp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger.

The merging of the apps means the messaging service will merge only and all apps will work alone as they are working currently. Wong’s screenshots also explains that the Facebook would be getting a white redesign of the app. There is no official date available when the integration and redesigned interface will be available.
