China National Space Administration (CNSA) has planned to complete orbiting, landing and roving in one mission on the Mars in 2020 and to reach their target in the planned timeline, the organization has started boosting it’s experiment for landing and hovering the probe.
An experiment simulating the process of a probe hovering, avoiding obstacles and descending to land on Mars was unveiled and as per the China National Space Administration (CNSA) the trial was held on a trial ground, the largest in Asia for test landing on extraterrestrial bodies, in Huailai County, north China’s Hebei province.
Safe landing on Mars is one of the biggest challenges that the mission teams faces and the experiment simulated the gravity of Mars, about one-third of the gravity on Earth, to test the design of the lander.
