We all really want Twitter to give us the edit button to make changes to our tweets but Twitter has squashed all plans that it will ever add the edit button, but a new service offers you the power to ‘undo’ your tweets.
Brizzly, a 2009 Twitter client has launched a new service called Brizzly+ that offers few unique features that are absent from the Twitter app for a long time. The new service that costs $6 a month or $60 per year brings Undo, Redo, Auto-deletion, Custom prompts and much more to Twitter.
One of the most notable new features is the “undo” feature that makes your tweets editable (albeit with some cautions) that allows users to set a delay of up to 10 minutes before their tweets will publish. The service doesn’t offer a dedicated edit button but this delay gives users an option to go back and edit or undo the tweet entirely.
The service also has a “redo” feature which will help users fix tweets that have already been published. “Want to replace an existing tweet after it’s posted,” the company explains. “We’ll copy the post into a new text field and allow you to edit it. Upon sending, your old tweet will be deleted and you’ll have a shiny new, correct tweet.”
The “Auto-delete” feature allows users to add disappearing stories to Twitter with the option to select from 24 hours, 1 week or 1 month.
A free trial of Brizzly+ for two-weeks is also available and the free-version of the service Brizzly Zero is available too.
