China-based Nubia Technology has launched the Nubia Z50 its latest smartphone that comes in as the successor of the Nubia Z40 launched last year in China.

Nubia Z50 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, a 93.45% screen-to-body ratio, HDR10+, 10-bit color and up to 1000 nits of peak brightness support. It features a punch hole cutout on the top center of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video recording support.
It comes in powered with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset paired with up to 8GB/12GB/16GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 3.1/UFS 4.0 internal storage with no expandable memory support. It offers an under-display optical fingerprint sensor for authentication and comes in with Android 13-based MyOS 13 running out-of-the-box.
It features a rectangular dual-lens camera setup that includes a 64MP (f/1.6) primary sensor with PDAF and OIS support and a 50MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 116-degree FOV with Ring-LED flash that offers video recording up to 8K resolution at 30fps and 720p videos at 1920 frames per second.

It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W USB-C fast charging support. On connectivity it offers Dual-band Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB-C 3.1 port and no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Nubia Z50 starts at 2,999 yuan for the 8GB/128GB base variant while the top variant with 16GB/1TB is priced at 5,999 yuan available in three Black, Silver and Mint color options in China.
