ZTE-owned Nubia Technology has launched the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro its latest gaming smartphone with high-end specifications successor to the ZTE Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro in China.

It has a 6.8-inch QHD+ (1116 × 2480 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 91.28% screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate and 500Hz multi-touch response rate with HDR 10+ support and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness screen.
It comes in powered with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset paired with up to 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage with no expandable memory support. The device has dual-mode 5G connectivity and faster dual-band Wi-Fi 6e support and comes in running with Android 13-based RedMagic OS 6.0 out-of-the-box. It also features an under-display optical fingerprint sensor for authentication and other features.
The company has upgraded the touch sensitive capacitive of shoulder triggers to up to 520Hz sample touch response rate. To keep the device cool it includes an upgraded physical fan that operates at up to 20,000 rpm and it also includes the liquid cooling solution.
It features a centered-align vertical triple-lens camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 2MP macro lens that offers up to [email protected] video recording support.
Red Magic 8 Pro has a massive 6,000 mAh battery to provide you a hefty gaming session also comes in with the 80W wired fast-charging that can charge your device to 0-100% in just 35 minutes.
