Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12S that comes in as successor to the Redmi Note 11 launched last year in India.

It features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 2400 x 1080-pixels resolution, up to 800 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. It features a punch-hole cutout on the center of the display which holds a 12MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with up to 1080p video recording support.
It comes in powered by the Mediatek Helio G96 chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and can be expanded up to 256GB using shared SIM card slot. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup with the 108MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree FOV and a 2MP macro lens with an LED flash that offers HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.
It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-50% in just 22 minutes. It comes in with Android 13-based MIUI 14 running out-of-the-box.
On connectivity it offers Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Infrared port, and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S starts at 239 euros available in three Onyx Black, Ice Blue and Pearl Green color options in Europe.
