Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 12 that comes in as successor to the Redmi Note 11 launched last year in China.

It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 2400 x 1080-pixels resolution, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. It features a punch-hole cutout on the center of the display which holds an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with up to 1080p video recording support.
It comes in powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen1 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage with no expandable memory support. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a rectangular dual-lens camera setup with the 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor with an dual-tone dual-LED flash that offers up to [email protected] video recording support.
It includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-100% in about one hour. It comes in with Android 12-based MIUI 13 running out-of-the-box.
On connectivity it offers Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, Infrared port, and a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 starts at 1,199 yuan for the base 4GB/128GB variant while the top variant with 8GB/256GB is priced at 1,699 yuan available in three black, white and blue color options in China.
