Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 12C its latest addition to the entry-level smartphone Redmi 12 series that comes in as the successor to the Redmi 10C launched last year.

It has a 6.71-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1650 pixels resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front. It features a dot notch on the top of the display that holds a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera that offers up to 1080p video calling support.
Redmi 10 comes in powered with the Mediatek Helio G85 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1) with expandable memory support using a dedicated memory card slot.

It features a rectangular dual-lens rear camera setup with a new 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and a 0.08MP depth sensor with an LED flash that offers up to 1080p video recording support. It also offers a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device for security and other features.
It comes in with a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. It comes in with Android 11-based MIUI 13 running out-of-the-box. On connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-band Wi-Fi, a microUSB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi Redmi 12C starts at 699 yuan for the base 4GB/64GB variant while the top variant with 6GB/128GB is priced at 899 yuan available in four Black, Blue, Mint and Violet color options in China.
