In an another innovative method to charge your devices wirelessly Xiaomi has taken a leap introducing remote wireless charging dubbed as Mi Air Charge Technology that could energize your devices even if you are several meters away from the charging source.
Xiaomi’s Mi Air Charge Technology is a 5W charging station that uses 144 antennas in the base station sending millimeter-wide waves to your phone, which receives them on a 14-antenna array of its own. Xiaomi claims that its remote wireless charging technology will be able to charge multiple devices at once, pass through physical objects, and send power to all kinds of small electronics around your room.
Xiaomi might show off a demo of the device in the future as the company as secured 17 patents that is more than any other phone manufacturer in the world.
