Xiaomi announced it’s first Android Go running phone, Redmi Go.
Redmi Go is a low-end device with a 5-inch 720 pixels 16:9 display, powered with Snapdragon 425 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage. It has a single lens 8MP camera in the back and 5MP camera in the front of the device.
The new Redmi Go runs on the Go version of the Android 8.1 Oreo which is already optimized for low-end devices to run Google apps and other apps efficiently. Redmi Go (8GB) is priced at Rs. 4,299 (~$60) and the Redmi Go (16GB) is priced at Rs. 4,499 (~$63), its a big competitor for Jio Phone 2 (priced at Rs. 2,999) and Nokia 1.
