Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 12S Ultra a new addition to the Xiaomi 12 series in China.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a 6.73-inch FHD+ (1440 x 3200 pixels) LTPO2 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+ and up to 1500 nits of peak brightness support with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front. It features a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top center of the device that holds a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with amazing camera features including AF, HDR and up to 1080p @ 30fps video recording support.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra comes in powered with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, it comes in coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage with no expandable memory support.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra features a rectangular quad-lens camera setup on the back which has a 50MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with Dual-pixel PDAF, Laser AF and OIS support, a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 128-degree FOV, a 48MP (f/4.1) telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom, PDAF and OIS support, and a TOF 3D depth sensor with Dual-LED flash that offers up to 8K HDR video recording support.
On connectivity, it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, an Infrared port, and a USB-C 2.0 port. It comes in with Android 12 based MIUI 13 running out-of-the-box which includes multiple features like a dark theme and a number of work/life-focused features.
It features a 4,860 mAh battery with 67W fast-charging and as per the company, it can be charged from 0-100% in just 41 minutes, 50W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra starts at 5,999 yuan for the 8GB/256GB base variant while the 12GB/256GB is priced at 6,499 yuan and the top variant with 512GB storage is priced at 6,999 yuan available in two Classic Black and Verdant Green color options in China.
