Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 12 Lite a new addition to the Xiaomi 12 series that comes in as another trimmed variant of the Mi 11 Lite 5G launched earlier this year.

Xiaomi 12 Lite has a 6.55-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+ and up to 950 nits of peak brightness support. It features a tiny punch-hole cutout on the top center of the device that holds a 32MP (f/2.5) selfie camera with amazing camera features including AF, HDR and up to 1080p video recording support.
Xiaomi 12 Lite comes in powered with the Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset with improved 5G connectivity, it comes in coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage with expandable memory support using the shared SIM slot.
Xiaomi 12 Lite features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup on the back which has a 108MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with PDAF support, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 2MP macro lens with Dual-LED dual-tone flash that offers up to 4K video recording support.
On connectivity, it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, an Infrared port, and a USB-C 2.0 port. It comes in with Android 12 based MIUI 13 running out-of-the-box which includes multiple features like a dark theme and a number of work/life-focused features.
It features a 4,300 mAh battery with 67W fast-charging and as per the company, it can be charged from 0-50 in just 13 minutes.

Xiaomi 12 Lite starts at $399 for the 6GB/128GB base variant while the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at $449 and the top variant with 256GB storage is priced at $499 available in three Black, Lite Green, Lite Pink color options.
