Vivo S5 with Punch-hole display and Quad-lens camera launched

The Chinese tech giant Vivo has launched Vivo S5 another mid-range smartphone to counter its rivals Xiaomi, Oppo, and Samsung with new smartphones like Vivo Z1x, Vivo Z1 Pro and Vivo S1.

Vivo S5 specifications:

Vivo S5 has a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also features a 2.98mm ultra-small hole on the screen that holds a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera and it also features an ultra-fast in-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo S5 also features a Quad-lens rear camera in a 45-degree rotated sqaure setup which includes a 48MP (f/1.8) wide primary shooter, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera, a dedicated 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens and a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The camera of the phone includes multiple mobile photography features that makes taking pictures and videos on the device much fun.

It is powered by Snapdragon 712 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a large 4,100 mAh battery with 22.5W FlashCharge technology.

Vivo S5 comes in with Android Pie (9.0) running with Vivo’s iOS-like FunTouch OS 9.2 which features multiple turbo modes like Centre Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo.

Vivo S5 Pricing and Availablity:

Vivo S5 starts at 2,698 Chinese Yuan (around Rs. 27,700) and it will available on sale from November 22 in China. It will be available in three color options Icelandic Blue, Phantom Blue, Star Black.

The company has also created a special Kun edition of the phone in partnership with Chinese celebrity Cai Xukun.

No details for it’s launch in other countries including India has not been revealed by the company yet, but we can expect it soon.
