Vivo has launched the Vivo S15e adding a new 5G smartphone to its affordable Vivo S series in China that comes in as a successor to Vivo S12 launched last year.

Vivo S15e has a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ and 1080 x 2404 pixels resolution with a big notch on the top of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera that offers HDR up to 1080p video recording support.
It comes in powered with the Samsung’s Exynos 1080 5G chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of (UFS 3.1) internal storage with no expandable memory support.
It features a rectangular triple-lens rear camera with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens with Dual-LED flash that offers HDR and up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in with a 4,700 mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-50% in just 18 minutes using a USB-C port.
It comes in with Android 11 running with Vivo’s Origin OS Ocean running out-of-the-box. On connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC but it does not offer 3.5mm headphone jack.
