After months of teasers and leaks, Vivo Nex 3 has officially been unveiled by the company in China today. As expected the Vivo Nex 3 features the “Waterfall FullView” display which the company says gives the screen-to-body ratio of 99.6 percent
Vivo Nex 3 has a 6.89-inch Full HD+ E3 Super AMOLED Waterfall FullView display with 99.6% screen-to-body ratio and it curves at 90-degree which makes it buttonless and it features virtual buttons Vivo called that Touch Sense and it works alongside haptic feedback system.
Vivo Nex 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus latest chipset from Qualcomm. It is coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 Storage. It will be available in both 4G and 5G support (Snapdragon X50 modem to enable fast 5G connectivity).
It has a Lunar Ring Camera setup which packs Triple Lens in the setup with a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle (120-degree FOV), and a 13MP Telephoto sensor with 2x Optical zoom.
It also features a pop-up rising 16-megapixel selfie camera accompanied with an LED soft light which opens in 0.65 seconds.
The Vivo Nex 3 comes in with Android Pie (9.0) running with Vivo’s iOS-like FunTouch OS 9.1 included with Vivo’s Jovi voice assistant. It has a massive 4,500 mAh battery which supports for 44W fast-charging.
Pricing and Availablity:
Vivo is pushing for the 5G connectivity phone and Vivo Nex 3 5G is available in two variant: 8GB+256GB is priced at 5,698 yuan (roughly Rs. 57,750) and the 12GB+256GB is priced at 6,198 yuan (roughly Rs. 62,750).
Vivo Nex 3 4G variant will be available for 4,998 yuan (roughly around Rs. 50,500) with 8GB+128GB configuration and it will be available from September 21st in China.
Vivo says that it will be available in the coming months in Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, and other markets.
