Vivo’s gaming sub-brand iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 8 adding a new gaming smartphone to its lineups in China.
iQOO 8 Specifications
iQOO 8 features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2376 pixels resolution) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, 91.4% screen-to-body ratio, and HDR 10+ support. It features a punch-hole cutout on the center of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.5) selfie camera with HDR and 1080p video calling support.
It comes in powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for security and comes in with Android 11 based vivo’s OriginOS instead of iQOO UI running out of the box.
iQOO 8 includes a Superconducting VC liquid cooling system with 4096mm² super heat spreader to keep your device cool and offers a smooth gaming experience.
It features a rectangular triple-lens rear camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and OIS technology, a 13MP (f/2.5) telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom and a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV with up to 4K video recording support.
It comes in with a 4,350 mAh battery with 120W fast-charging technology support that the company says can juice up the battery from 0-100 percent in just 15 minutes.
On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

iQOO 8 starts at 3,799 yuan (~Rs. 43,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB base variant and 4,199 yuan (~Rs. 47,600) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage top variant available in White, Orange and Black color options in China.
