Vivo’s gaming sub-brand iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 8 Pro adding a new gaming smartphone to its lineups in China.
iQOO 8 Pro Specifications
iQOO 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch QHD+ (1440 x 3200 pixels resolution) LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and up to 1500 nits of peak brightness support. It features a punch-hole cutout on the center of the display that holds a 16MP (f/2.4) selfie camera with HDR and 1080p video calling support.
It comes in powered by the Snapdragon 888+ 5G chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage (UFS 3.1). It features an under-display fingerprint sensor for security and comes in with Android 11 based vivo’s OriginOS instead of iQOO UI running out of the box.
iQOO 8 Pro includes a Superconducting VC liquid cooling system with 4096mm² super heat spreader to keep your device cool and offers a smooth gaming experience.
It features a rectangular triple-lens rear camera setup with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF and Gimbal Stabilization technology, a 16MP (f/2.2) telephoto lens with OIS and a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 114-degree FOV with up to 8K video recording support.
It comes in with a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast-charging technology support that the company says can juice up the battery from 0-100 percent in just 18 minutes, 50W fast-wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
On connectivity, it offers WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

iQOO 8 Pro starts at 4,999 yuan for the 8GB RAM + 256GB base variant and 5,499 yuan for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage while the top variant with 12GB and 512GB is priced at 5,999 yuan available in White (BMW M branding) and Black color options in China.
