Umidigi has unveiled its first entry-level Android GO smartphone Umidigi A7S that includes a built-in contactless thermometer that is a helping device in the COVID-19 Pandemic period.

Umidigi A7S has a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch on the top that holds an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with a 1080p video calling support.
It comes in powered with the MediaTek MT6737 chipset (quad-core A53 at 1.25 GHz) paired 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot.

Umidigi A7S features a rectangular triple-lens camera setup with a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash. The major feature of the phone is the infrared sensor on the rear camera array that also works with a dedicated button on the side of the device and a push-to-talk option to activate the thermometer app.
It comes in with Android 10 GO Edition running out-of-the-box. On connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Umidigi A7S is priced at $99.99 for the single 2GB + 32GB variant available in three color options Black, Green, and Blue.
