Tecno has launched the Tecno Camon 17 adding a new mid range smartphone to its Tecno Camon series in Africa that comes in with upgraded specifications.

Tecno Camon 17 has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate screen, 84% screen-to-body ratio, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.2) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
It comes in power with the Helio G85 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot. It also offers a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a vertical-shaped triple-lens rear camera setup that includes a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor with PDAF, a 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens with Quad-LED flash and HDR support.
It offers a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support, on connectivity, it offers Dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It comes in with Android 11-based HIOS 7.6 running out-of-the-box and offers thin notch on the bottom of the display.
