Tecno has launched the Tecno Camon 16 adding a new mid-range smartphone to its Tecno Camon series in India after the Tecno Camon 16 Premier launched in Kenya.

Tecno Camon 16 has a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and 720 x 1640 pixels resolution with a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera with 1080p video calling support.
It comes in power with the Helio G970 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot. It also offers a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a square-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup that includes a 64MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated video camera lens with Penta-LED flash and HDR support.
It offers a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support (not available in the box). On connectivity, it offers Dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It comes in with Android 10-based HIOS 7.0 running out-of-the-box that offers multiple features including gesture controls and photo compressor.

Tecno Camon 16 is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB variant and it will be available for sale starting October 16 on Flipkart in Cloud White, Purist Blue, and Misty Grey color options.
