Tecno has launched the Tecno Camon 16 Premier adding a new mid range smartphone to its Tecno Camon series in Kenya that comes in with upgraded specifications.

Tecno Camon 16 Premier has a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution with a punch-hole cutout on the top left of the screen that holds a dual-lens selfie camera with 48MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens of 105-degree FOV.
It comes in power with the Helio G90T chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot. It also offers a fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device for authentication and other features.
It features a square-shaped quad-lens rear camera setup that includes a 64MP (f/1.9) primary sensor with PDAF, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated video camera lens with Penta-LED flash and HDR support.
It offers a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support that can charge the device from 0-70% in just 30 minutes.
On connectivity, it offers Dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes in with Android 10-based HIOS 6.0 running out-of-the-box and offers thin notch on the bottom of the display.

Tecno Camon 16 Premier is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the single 8GB and 128GB variant available in Glacial silver color option, it will be available for sale starting from January 16th in India.
Tecno Camon 16 Premier is priced at KES28,999 (about $275) in Kenya.
