Sony has finally unveiled the Xperia Pro 5G smartphone adding a premium variant of the Xperia 1 II launched last year.

Sony Xperia Pro has a 6.5-inch FHD+ HDR BT.2020 (1644 x 3840 pixels) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch scanning rate screen. It features a 21:9 aspect ratio (which the company dubbed as CineWide) that is widely known to offer an impressive experience for watching movies on the device.
It comes in powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (UFS 3.0) which can be expanded up to 1TB using a shared microSD card slot.
It comes in with a vertical quad-lens camera setup with a trio of different 12MP lens with Zeiss’ T* anti-reflective coating which includes a 12MP (f/1.7) primary sensor with Dual-PF, AF, and OIS, a 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 3X Optical zoom, a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle lens with 124-degree field of view and a 0.3MP TOF sensor on the back of the device.
It offers up to 4K video recording at 120 frames per second making it the world’s first smartphone to offer this video resolution.
It also includes an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera packed in the front of the display that offers HDR photo and other features.
It includes a fingerprint sensor equipped inside the power button placed on the right-side of the device. On connectivity it offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
