Smartisan has launched the Smartisan Nut R2 flagship smartphone in a launch event held in China on Wednesday.

Smartisan Nut R2 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) pixels AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate display with a punch hole cutout on the top left of the display that holds a 20MP selfie camera with 4-in-1 pixel binning, it includes an under display fingerprint sensor for security.
Smartisan Nut R2 is powered with Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It comes with 4,510 mAh battery with 55W USB-C fast charging support.
It comes in with Android 10-based on Smartisan OS 8.0 running out-of-the-box.
It features a rectangular quad-lens rear camera setup with a 108MP (f/1.8) Samsung ISOCELL CMOS primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 5MP macro lens for 2cm macro shots and it comes in packed with multiple features including NOMO camera for photography on the smartphone.
For connectivity it features dual mode 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

Smartisan Nut R2 is available in multiple variants in China starting at 4,499 yuan (~Rs. 49,000) for the 8GB + 128GB base variant and other variants are mentioned below:

- 12GB + 256GB: 5,299 yuan (~Rs. 58,000)
- 16GB + 512GB: 6,499 yuan (~Rs. 71,000)
- Revolution 2 Light Shine Special Edition: 6,499 yuan (~Rs. 71,000)
It is available on sale starting from November 11th in China.
The company has also launched the white color variant of the Smartisan Nut R2 (16GB + 512GB) priced at 6,499 yuan in China.
