South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy A3 Core successor to the Galaxy A2 Core launched last year in Nigeria.

Galaxy A3 Core has a 5.3-inch HD+ (720 x 1480 pixels resolution) TFT display with thick bezels on the top and bottom of the device, on the top, it holds a 5MP (f/2.0) selfie camera for video calling support.

It comes in power with an unnamed quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and it comes in paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card slot. It features an 8MP (f/2.0) primary camera with an LED flash on the back.

It includes a 3,000 mAh battery with no fast-charging support using a micro USB port, the company says that the device can last for up to 11 hours in a single charge. On connectivity, it offers LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It comes in with Android Go Edition running out-of-the-box that comes with pre-installed Google Go edition apps optimised for lower end smartphones.

Galaxy A3 Core is priced at NGN 32,500 (~Rs. 6,200) for the single 1GB + 16GB variant in Black, Blue, and Red color options.
