Samsung earlier revealed the Galaxy XCover Pro a rugged mid-range smartphone at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference and finally, it’s here to be launched and intended for Enterprise and other service companies.

Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a small Punch Hole display that holds a 13MP Selfie Camera and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It features two programmable buttons on the side that the company says can be programmed for applications like push-to-talk and if you’re a Microsoft Teams user, you can use that button with the new Microsoft Teams Walkie Talkie feature. Samsung says that the XCover Pro is also EMV Level 1 certified meaning that it can be used for receiving payments by tapping their NFC-equipped credit card, phone, or watch.
Galaxy XCover Pro has IP68 dust and water-resistance rating with up to 1.5 meters and drop-to-concrete resistance from up to 1.2 m. It’s MIL-STD 810G certified meaning it can resist extreme altitudes, temperatures, humidity, and other difficult conditions.
Galaxy XCover Pro is powered by Samsung Exynos 9611 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded with up to 512GB microSD slot.
It features a dual-lens rear camera setup that has a 25MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with f/2.2. It has Android 10 running with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 with a 4,050 mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro will be in the U.S. market in the first half of 2020 for a price of $499.99.
